One of the great advantages of affiliate marketing is that once the site and the affiliate relationship is established, apart from promoting the product, the affiliate can just sit back and watch their commission balance grow. They can literally leave the web page to do its own work.

To become an affiliate marketer, it is ideal to have a computer, internet connection, and a website. But it is not imperative. It is certainly possible to work from internet cafe's or kiosks, using turnkey feeder sites supplied by some programs (see below). The advantage of having your own equipment and website is that you can choose what hours to work - late at night, weekends etc.
